Muting someone hides their posts and stories from your feed without notifying them. It doesn't affect messaging or profile access — they can still see and interact with your content.
Mute a User
1. Go to the user's profile.
2. Tap the three dots in their profile header.
3. Select Mute.
Unmute a User
1. Go to your profile and tap Settings ⚙️.
2. Select Privacy > Muted Users.
3. Tap Unmute next to any account you want to restore.
What Muting Does (and Doesn't Do)
- The muted user is not notified when you mute or unmute them.
- Their posts and stories are hidden from your feed.
- They can still message you and view your content.
- To prevent interaction entirely, you'll need to restrict or block them instead.
