Reposting lets you share another user's post with your own followers, either directly into your feed or as a story.
Steps:
Find the post you want to repost.
Tap the Repost icon below the post.
Choose one of the options:
Repost — shares the post directly to your followers' feeds. You can add a short text caption, but cannot add images or videos.
Repost as Story — shares the post as part of your stories. Currently you cannot add any text, images, or videos when reposting as a story.
Good to know:
To see who reposted your content, go to the Notifications tab and select Reposts at the top.
Reposts are visible on all users' profiles under the Reposts tab.
Content from private accounts cannot be reposted.
The original author is always credited when you repost.
If the original post is deleted, the repost will also disappear.
