Content search on UpScrolled is currently limited to browsing hashtags or using the Discover page.
Using the Search page:
Tap the magnifier icon 🔍 in the bottom navigation bar.
At the top you'll find a search bar to search by hashtag or for specific users.
Below the search bar are two tabs: Topics and Trending #.
In Topics, select a category to see posts from users in that area.
In Trending #, see trending topics globally or filter by a specific country.
Tap the 📍 Change location button in the top right corner to adjust the country. The app defaults to your current location.
Accessing Discover from the home page:
On the home page, tap the Discover tab at the top.
Here you'll see posts from users globally.
Tap the ⚙️ gear icon in the top left corner to switch between ranked and chronological feed sorting.
Good to know:
Content search does not yet include searching by text, bios, or captions — only hashtags.
Discover makes it easy to explore what's trending across different regions.
Better search capability is on the roadmap.
