Blocking prevents another user from seeing your profile, posts, or stories, and stops them from contacting you. It is the most effective way to protect yourself from unwanted interactions.
To block:
Go to the user's profile.
Tap the (three dots) menu.
Select Block and confirm.
To unblock:
Follow the same steps and select Unblock.
To manage your blocked list:
Go to your Profile page.
Tap Settings -> Blocked users.
Good to know:
Blocked users will not be notified.
Once blocked, the user cannot see your posts, stories, or profile, and cannot contact you.
Blocking also removes them from your followers list.
You can unblock a user at any time.
