Following users lets you see their posts, stories, and updates in your feed. Unfollowing removes their content from your feed without blocking them.
To follow a user:
Find the user via the Search function or by tapping their profile photo, name, or handle from a post, comment, or mention.
Tap the Follow button on their profile and confirm.
If their account is public, you will follow them immediately.
If their account is private, they will need to approve your request first.
To unfollow a user:
Go to the user's profile.
Tap Unfollow and confirm.
Good to know:
Unfollowing is different from blocking — the user will still see your content unless you set your account to private or block them.
Users are not notified when you unfollow them.
You can follow or unfollow at any time.
