How many accounts can I follow on UpScrolled?

On UpScrolled, you're able to follow up to 7,000 accounts. After following 7,000 accounts, you won't be able to follow more until you stop following some accounts. If you encounter a "Something went wrong" error while attempting to follow new accounts on UpScrolled, it is likely due to the platform's follow limit. This error occurs when you have reached the maximum limit of 7,000 accounts that a user can follow.

How to Resolve the Issue

To resolve the "Something went wrong" error and follow new accounts:

  1. Check the Number of Accounts You Are Following: If you are following 7,000 or more accounts, you will need to reduce this number.

  2. Unfollow Some Accounts: Identify and unfollow accounts that you no longer wish to follow until your total drops below 7,000.

  3. Attempt to Follow Again: Once your followed accounts are below the limit, you should be able to follow new accounts without encountering the error.

Additional Notes

  • Rounded Follow Count: Your profile may display a rounded number, such as "7.7k," which is an approximate count. This may not reflect the exact number of accounts you are following.

  • Future Improvements: While the ability to view the exact number of followed accounts directly in the app may be improved in the future, the follow limit of 7,000 accounts remains in place.
