If another user is making you feel unsafe, uncomfortable, or targeted on UpScrolled, we take that very seriously. The fastest way to protect yourself is to Block the user. You can also Report their behavior to our moderation team.

What to do:

  1. Go to the profile of the person, or the specific post/message in question.

  2. Tap the three dots (⋮) menu.

  3. Select Block to immediately stop the user from seeing your content or contacting you.

  4. If you also want to alert our team, select Report to flag the behavior.

For logistical questions contact [email protected].

We prioritize safety on the platform and encourage users who feel targeted or experience violence based on their identity to reach out directly to our Trust and Safety team at [email protected] to escalate these issues more quickly and address any immediate threats. If you can include any handles and screenshots, this will help our team.

Good to know:

  • Blocking is instant and also removes the user from your followers list.

  • Reports are confidential — the user will not know you reported them.

  • Our moderation team reviews reports in line with the Community Guidelines and may take further action, including warnings or suspensions.

If you feel at risk offline, we strongly encourage you to also contact your local authorities.
