You can choose exactly who is allowed to mention or tag you in UpScrolled — or turn it off entirely. Go to Profile → Settings ⚙️ → Mentions & Tags to update your preference.
How to Change Your Mentions & Tags Setting
1. Open the UpScrolled app.
2. Go to your Profile.
3. Tap Settings ⚙️, then select Mentions & Tags.
4. Choose one of the following options:
- Everyone – Any user can mention or tag you.
- People I follow – Only users you follow can mention or tag you.
- Off – No one can mention or tag you.
Your change saves immediately and applies to both mentions and tags.
What Happens When You Turn Mentions Off
If you select Off, other users can still type your handle in a post or comment, but it won't generate an active mention or send you a notification.
