Your @handle is your unique public username. You can update it anytime in your account settings.
How to Change Your Handle
1. Open the app.
2. Go to your Profile and tap Settings ⚙️.
3. Select Account Center → Handle.
4. Enter your new handle and tap Save.
Handle Requirements
Your new handle must meet these criteria:
- 1–20 characters long
- Letters, numbers, and underscores only
- Must be unique — if it's taken, choose a different one
What Happens After You Change It
Your followers, posts, and messages are not affected by a handle change.
You can only change your handle once every 24 hours.
Things to Keep in Mind
Changing your handle frequently can make it harder for others to find you or recognize your account. Pick something you're happy to keep long-term.
